Local Reporting and Reinsurance

Role and Responsibilities:
1. Risk Based Capital Takaful (RBCT)
- Assists in performing monthly reporting on local statutory reserve, tabarru surplus accrual & distribution.
- To carry out monthly Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and PCA local solvency. To analyse the year on year and month to month Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) movement.
- To perform Reserve Movement Analysis (RMA) and Source of Earning (SOE)
- To assists in attending other stakeholders' queries (such as Finance, BNM, PCA and auditors.

2. Retakaful
- To deliver monthly retakaful account and bordereaux reporting accurately and timely, providing monthly retakaful account reconciliation with Finance.
- Prepare the retakaful programme and related reporting templates for new products, perform reconciliation of the program before putting into production.
- To enhance and maintain the retakaful programme with proper valuation control in place.
- Enhancement and improvement of current process and procedure.
- To ensure timely submission to BNM in quarterly BNM exposure and involve in ad-hoc tasks as required.
- To assists in attending queries from retakaful operator.

Qualification and Experience:

- Entry level with Degree in Actuarial Sciences.
- Good analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Well versed in English (both written and spoken).
- Able to work under pressure and deliver within tight deadlines.
- Driven by high desire to acquire knowledge and to deliver results.
- Displays high level of trust and sense of responsibility.
