**Quantity Surveyor (Construction) Job Description**
We are searching for a reliable quantity surveyor to join our capable team of professionals. The quantity surveyor will be tasked with analyzing existing budgets and making improvements, reviewing plans and preparing quantity estimates, negotiating with various contractors and vendors, as well as building relationships with clients and site managers.
**Quantity Surveyor Responsibilities**:
- Reviewing construction plans and preparing quantity requirements.
- Scrutinizing maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
- Liaising with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Preparing reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessment, and other documents.
- Advising superiors/managers/directors and clients on improvements and new strategies.
- Keeping track of materials and ordering more when required.
- Documenting any changes in design and updating budgets.
- Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Traveling from the office to various sites as required.
- Other related tasks and projects as assigned from time to time
**Quantity Surveyor Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, engineering, management, or similar.
- At least 5 years working experience in residential and/or commercial construction industry
- Good personality, high self-discipline, committed to work and good responsibility person
- Construction estimating or finance experienced is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Sound knowledge of construction.
- Excellent negotiating and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to organize, plan, and strategize.
- Great networking abilities.
- A valid driver's license.
- Possess own transport, willing to travel outstation and stay outstation depends on job need and requirement. After some time, company might provide transport vehicle (company car / pickup) currently project sites mostly within Perak.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM5,000.00 per month

- Lumut: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)
**Education**:
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (required)
**Experience**:
- QS Related: 5 years (required)
Willingness to travel:
- 25% (preferred)
