**Job Purpose**:
To lead and support the Group Procurement in planning, sourcing, negotiating and managing procurement operation across multiple business unit, ensuring cost efficiency, compliance and alignment with strategic sourcing goals.
- **Procurement Strategy Support** - Assist in developing and implementing procurement strategies across the group to optimize cost, quality and delivery performance.
- **Vendor Management**:
- Identify, evaluate and maintain relationships with key suppliers. Support supplier performance reviews and issue resolution.
- **Sourcing & Negotiation** - Source materials, equipment and services. Conduct RFQs/RFPs and negotiate contracts to ensure competitive pricing and terms.
- **Compliance & Risk Management** - Ensure procurement activities comply with internal policies, legal regulations and ethical standards. Assist in managing supplier risks.
- **Category Management** - Support category managers in analyzing spend and identifying opportunities for category-based savings and efficiency improvements.
- **Cross-Functional Coordination** - Collaborate with finance, legal, operations and business units to align procurement needs with organizational goals.
- **Reporting & Analytics** - Monitor KPIs, prepare procurement reports and provide data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
- **Process Improvement** - Recommend and help implement process enhancements in procurement systems and procedures.
- **Team Management** - Guide, train and lead other Group Procurement team members to smooth out any operation challenges.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering or related field.
- 8 years of relevant experience in procurement, preferably in group or corporate environment.
- Professional certification (e.g., CIPS, CPM) is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
