Job purpose

Resident doctor reports to the managing director. He/she is responsible in providing competent medical consultation and supervising clinic operations.

Job duties and responsibilities
- Provides competent medical consultation to patients by practising patient-centred and team-based care. Embrace continuous learning culture.
- Supervises clinic operations and staff competency by ensuring compliance to standard and on-the-job training/remediation of clinic staff.
- Contribute to sales by establishing relationships with patients, promoting services/products and contacting patients on updates.
- Provides on the ground feedback to the management by reporting complaints, shortfall, gap, negligence, indiscipline, incompetency and danger.
- Assist in marketing activities by participating in organized activities and content creation.
- Undertake other duties as assigned by the managing director.

Required qualifications
- Has a medical degree recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC)
- Full registration under the MMC
- Possess latest year APC
- 2 years experience as a medical officer in primary care / emergency care
- Has general knowledge on primary care role and services.
- Good communication skill
- Resilient

Preferred qualifications
- DOSH-registered occupational health doctor
