**ROLE PURPOSE**
- Operations Officer (Currency Processing) is responsible to execute currency processing activities in
- compliance with the standard operating procedure and guidelines.

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- **Academic Qualifications**: Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)
- **Experience**: 1+ Years experience in production line / factory.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**

**Effective Execution of the Bank’s Mandates**:
**1. Currency Processing Activity**: Perform currency processing activities including preparing materials, equipment, machinery, and systems readiness to achieve the required production output.

**2. Maintain Quality Control**: Perform random inspection on the processed banknotes to ensure the quality is in accordance with the Bank's standard. Escalate any deviation on output quality to Operations Supervisor for corrective action.

**3. Compliance and Governance**:Perform activities as specified in the guidelines and established procedures to maintain quality and integrity of currency in the region.

Operational Efficiency and Effectiveness:
**4. Business Process Improvements and Other Task**: Prepare data and material to identify and recommend improvement to the current work processes, standard operating procedures, and guidelines to improve efficiency, productivity and sustainability of currency processing. Perform relief function and undertake other tasks as and when required.

**5. Project/Initiative**:Participate in the department's project/initiative as agreed by supervisor.

**6. Staff Development**:Undertake continuous self-learning and development initiatives to build the required competencies to discharge duty effectively.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
