**Director of Operations, Storage Business Unit**

We are seeking an amazing Director of Operations to lead our operations team spanning from New Product Introduction in the US to High Volume Manufacturing in Asia in one of the fastest growing business units at Teradyne. This person is a self motivator, with a positive attitude who enjoys working through people to achieve tremendous results. Team player who loves a good challenge, has a high level of integrity, and works diligently to exceeds expectations.

**Specific Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to)**:

- Responsible for meeting revenue goals on a consistent basis
- Developing and executing strategic initiatives
- Working with department managers to develop and implement employee development and training programs
- Liaising with functional heads to develop new product introduction and manufacturing objectives to match pace with growth
- Working with each functional group and the operations team to identify, prioritize, and act on meeting project timelines and risk management.
- Lead the team to work with finance and supply line groups to develop, analyze, monitor, and meet cost structures and models.
- Delivering revenue and project status reviews to senior management and peers

**Qualifications**:

- A degree in a technical discipline, preferably mechanical or manufacturing engineering.
- Minimum 15 years of experience in an operations and/or new product introduction management role.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in a management role and coordinating complex, cross-functional projects.
- Working knowledge of inventory, capacity planning, material gathering, engineering and finance aspects of manufacturing and outsourcing of electromechanical systems and PCBAs.
- Ability to support the NPI team in multiple cross-functional project tracks (swim lanes) concurrently in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to escalate issues to senior level management.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) and collaborative team player.
- Confidence in conflict solving ability.

- MS Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, MS Project or similar)
