Location: Malaysia

As Lead, Vendor Management, you’ll be key in developing a comprehensive, cohesive strategy for Lazada’s engagement with vendors and other 3PLs. From procurement, negotiation and vendor development, you’ll work closely with local teams across Southeast Asia to ensure that Lazada vendor management process is highly efficient and our vendors are high-performing.

1. Responsible for working with local teams to develop effective vendor management processes for our outsourced logistics operations across Southeast Asia.
2. Propagation of best-practices across the region, improved procurement, negotiation and development processes when interacting with our logistics vendors.
3. Ensure our vendor payments are optimal and cost-efficient for our logistics operations
4. Overall ownership of training and development of programs to improve our 3rd-party vendors and grow their capabilities and scale alongside Lazada.
5. Working with product and technical team to develop, test and rollout new upgrades and updates to Lazada’s Procurement & Vendor Management and technology services across the region.
6. Provide market intelligence in terms of benchmarking vs other 3PLs, with regards to costs, procurement and other 3rd party costs.

**Job Requirements**
- At least at least 7 years working experience in logistics or express delivery industry preferably with multicultural exposure in South East Asia Region. Experience with procurement or dealing with 3rd party logistics providers would be a strong advantage.
- Experience with change management will be an advantage
- Records of delivering quantifiable service & efficiency gain and implemented change across the region.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to secure alignment and influence without authority at the senior levels.
- Solid organizational skills in prioritize tasks within timeline, pay attention to details and multi-tasking.
- Analytical thinking and problem solving - able to consume data and formulate an improvement plan.
- Proficiency with Microsoft office tool such as Word, Powerpoint and Excel, Access
- Willingness and flexibility to travel in the region about 50% of the time.
