Cloud & Infrastructure Operations Analyst

**The Role** As a Cloud & Digital Workplace Analyst, you will provide first-line support for virtual servers and Microsoft Azure environments. You will be responsible for performing daily operational tasks, monitoring systems, handling basic service requests, and performing routine changes across both cloud and on-prem infrastructure. This includes basic support for VMware virtualization platforms, backup jobs, and networking components. You will escalate complex issues as needed while gaining hands-on experience across hybrid IT environments. This role is ideal for someone early in their IT infrastructure career looking to develop practical skills in cloud and infrastructure operations. **The Person** You are proactive, customer-focused, and eager to learn. You possess a strong foundational understanding of server and Azure Technology and are comfortable following standard operating procedures. You work well in a team environment and are committed to providing timely support and accurate documentation. **Accountabilities** **1. Digital Workplace** Primarily related to on-prem server support, routine user/system operations, and hybrid infrastructure: - Monitor server environment health using tools like LogicMonitor. - Log and triage incidents and service requests. - Perform basic troubleshooting of server issues (e.g., CPU usage, Memory usage, Disk space, VM availability, backup status). - Handle common service requests (e.g., password resets, access requests). - Escalate complex or unresolved issues to Level 2 or Level 3 teams. - Support patching for Windows OS and backup (Commvault, Veeam, Avamar) verification tasks under guidance. - Follow change management processes for standard changes/emergency changes. - Maintain accurate ticket documentation and update knowledge base where needed. - Assist with daily reporting and shift handovers. **2.
