Your Responsibilities:
Design training programs that align with AirAsia’s corporate culture, low-cost carrier model, and operational requirements.

Ensure that all training programs meet the aviation industry's safety standards and comply with regulations set by bodies like CAAM (Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia) and other international regulatory organizations.

Responsibility to update and maintain the content of the MAA training program and to ensure compliance with requirements as and when there are changes/updates.

Develop and implement training focused on delivering exceptional customer service, aligning with AirAsia’s brand promise of affordable travel with high-quality service.

Ensure that all AirAsia staff maintain necessary certifications and that training programs are regularly updated to reflect changes in regulatory requirements.

Manage and ensure training schedule/planner and record are up to date.

Responsible for planning yearly training for MAA based on initial/recurrent training needs or ad-hoc training required for operations

Your Duties:
Regularly audit training processes and programs to ensure compliance with international aviation standards and prepare detailed reports for regulatory bodies.

Use feedback, assessments, and performance metrics to evaluate training programs' success and identify improvement areas.

Continuously update training materials to reflect new policies, procedures, and technologies, ensuring AirAsia staff remain at the forefront of industry best practices.

Manage a team of trainers, instructional designers, and coordinators, ensuring that training is delivered effectively and consistently across all locations.

Manage the training budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources while maintaining high training standards.

Work closely with AirAsia’s operations, PD, and other departments to align training with company objectives and operational needs.

Coordinate with external training providers, industry experts, and regulatory bodies to enhance training programs.

Continuously research and integrate new training methodologies and technologies to keep AirAsia's training programs cutting-edge.

Responsible for closing all audit non-compliance reports (NCRs) related to training.

Your Merits:
Airline experience is essential, with at least five (05) years of experience in airline operations.

Excellent interpersonal communication and influencing skills.

Experienced in cultivating relationships with airport authorities and regulatory bodies.

Experienced in managing a diverse team.
