Paraplanner

**The Opportunity**

Our client is an Australian-based financial planning company with over 30 years in personal financial & SME business advice profession. They are looking for a **Paraplanner** to be a part of their growing A-team, based in **Malaysia**.

This role focuses on providing ongoing support to the Australian Financial Planners, in matters of advice and services to the company's clients. We are looking for enthusiastic and driven individuals to experience working hand in hand with the Australian team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the Wealth Management team in providing annual services to an existing client base.
- Ensure all client data and information collected is correctly entered in the financial planning & CRM software.
- Develop financial strategies to meet client’s objectives based on the existing situation of clients.
- Work with the Client Service Manager and Advisers to prepare the financial strategy based on information provided and research completed.
- Ad-Hoc completion of basic administrative tasks.
- Effective use of workflow systems to ensure efficient completion of daily tasks.

**Skills, Experience & Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Financial related areas, i.e. Business, Commerce, Finance, Accounting.
- Ability to develop a working knowledge of the Australian Superannuation, Financial Planning and Taxation System.
- Experience with Accounting Systems such as XPlan & NetSuite is preferred but not required.
- Comprehensive verbal and written English skills.
- Driven, proactive and able to work independently.
