**Key Responsibilities**

**Strategic Leadership**
- Provide clear leadership and guidance in defining and executing the company’s vision, mission, strategic priorities, and business roadmap.
- Evaluate new opportunities, potential risks, and evolving market dynamics to ensure sustainable growth and long-term competitiveness.

**Operational Management**
- Supervise the company’s daily operations to maintain operational excellence, profitability, and full compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Develop, enforce, and monitor robust internal systems, policies, and procedures to protect the company’s assets and uphold its reputation.

**Financial Stewardship**
- Oversee the company’s financial health through effective budgeting, expenditure control, and transparent financial reporting.

**People and Organisational Development**
- Lead, coach, and inspire the senior management team to deliver on strategic and operational goals.
- Promote a workplace culture rooted in integrity, accountability, and high performance across all levels of the organisation.

**Stakeholder & Board Relations**
- Serve as the main conduit between the Board of Directors and the management team, ensuring clear communication and timely execution of Board decisions.
- Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key stakeholders such as clients, partners, government bodies, and community representatives.

**Business Development**
- Spearhead business expansion by pursuing new contracts, partnerships, and project opportunities.
- Strengthen the company’s market position and visibility by opening new markets and reinforcing brand presence.

**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related discipline; a Master’s Degree (MBA) is advantageous.
- At least **5 years of progressive experience** in senior management (e.g., General Manager, Deputy GM, Operations Director, or equivalent), preferably within construction, engineering, or related sectors.
- Proven capability in setting strategic direction, driving business expansion, and leading diverse teams. Skilled in balancing daily operations with long-term business objectives.
- Strong command of financial oversight, including budgeting, cost optimization, and performance monitoring. Adept at identifying new opportunities, mitigating risks, and securing projects.
- Demonstrated leadership in developing and mentoring senior-level teams, fostering a results-oriented and ethical culture.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with the Board, clients, partners, regulators, and other stakeholders.
- Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity for sound, timely decision-making.
- Proficiency in **English and Bahasa Malaysia** is required; Mandarin proficiency is an advantage for liaising with suppliers and partners.
