**Position: Finance and Accounting Officer**

**Working location: Petaling Jaya, KL**

**Working day Mon - Fri**

**Working hours 9am to 6pm**

**Job Descriptions**

**1. Financial Recordkeeping and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries for management, stakeholders, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and disclosures for external audits.

**2. Budgeting and Forecasting**:

- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, collaborating with relevant departments.
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide insights to management for decision-making and cost control.
- Help develop financial models and projections to support strategic planning and business initiatives.

**3. Financial Analysis**:

- Perform financial analysis, including profitability analysis, revenue analysis, and expense analysis.
- Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement based on financial data.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management for optimizing financial performance and efficiency.
- Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario modeling to assess the financial impact of various business decisions.

**4. Compliance and Risk Management**:

- Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and internal policies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, ensuring timely and accurate submission.
- Help implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets and mitigate financial risks.
- Support internal and external audits, providing documentation and explanations as required.

**5. Cash Management and Treasury**:

- Assist in cash flow management, including monitoring cash balances, forecasting cash needs, and optimizing cash utilization.
- Coordinate with banking partners for transaction processing, account reconciliation, and other treasury-related activities.
- Assist in managing relationships with financial institutions, ensuring favorable terms and services.
- Support the management of working capital, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.

**6. Financial Systems and Process Improvement**:

- Help maintain and improve financial systems, ensuring accurate and efficient recording of financial transactions.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of finance-related policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial workflows and optimize data integrity.

**Job Requirements**
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CPA, CMA) are a plus. Alternatively, proven experience in finance and accounting roles, preferably in the Bank/ Fintech or peer-to-peer lending industry will be considered.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, regulations, and reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reporting.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
