Heritage Centre Manager

**Job Summary**:
- Responsible for managing the daily Heritage Centre operations, smooth management of the Heritage Centre and provides leadership in strategic and operational planning. Leads a team of staff, the development of the Heritage Centre initiatives, and improvements for effective delivery of the Heritage Centre programmes and services.
**Key Responsible & Accountabilities**:
- Lead and supervise a team of Heritage Centre Assistants for the overall operation of the Heritage Centre as assigned.
- Motivate the Heritage Centre Assistants to ensure productivity at work and advocates for improvement on works processes and areas to achieve excellent customer services.
- To manage budgets and bid for funding; oversees the business aspects of the Heritage site, which might include budgeting and forecasting profit and expenditure.
- Monitoring of the department key performance indicators.
- To oversee membership services, managing databases of members, pricing membership options and producing membership cards or letters.
- To measure feedback form stakeholders and visitors; involve seeking feedback from members to guide and shape the future development of the exhibitions, facilities, and activities on offer on-site.
- To manage special events, coordinating suppliers such as caterers or technicians, or managing ticket sales and running and advertising campaign.
- To produce marketing campaign and materials.
- Manage renovations and maintenance; look after the site as a whole and such have responsibilities for spotting areas that need renovation or maintenance.
- Plan, create exhibitions, schedule programmed activities for members (if required) and updating educational displays; to develop new ways to present the attraction.
- To develop commercial services; Heritage site generate funding through private hire for functions.
- Responsibility for health and safety in place
.Involve for recruitment of staff and volunteers; have a team of paid staff who support the day to day running of the site.
.Must be able to communicate effectively in Malay and English, proficiency in Mandarin will be added as advantage
**Salary**: RM4,500.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
