**JOB SUMMARY**

As a **Hostess**, you are the first and last point of contact for guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. You are responsible for greeting guests warmly, managing wait times efficiently, and ensuring guests feel welcomed and valued throughout their visit. Your goal is to create a positive and professional first impression, leaving guests with a memorable experience that encourages them to return.

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Maintain a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor at all times.
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a sincere smile and courteous tone.
- Manage the waitlist and seating arrangements efficiently based on table availability and guest flow.
- Provide guests with menus and inform them of any specials or promotions.
- Monitor the entrance to ensure timely acknowledgment and seating of all arriving guests.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and resolve issues courteously, escalating to the Manager-On-Duty if needed.
- Maintain a neat and organized reception and waiting area.
- Communicate clearly and politely with service and kitchen staff regarding guest arrivals, table turnovers, and special seating requests.
- Ensure proper reservation management, either manually or using the POS/booking system.
- Thank departing guests and invite them to return, maintaining a lasting positive impression.
- Support the service team in clearing, resetting tables, or assisting during peak hours when necessary.
- Follow all health, safety, and cleanliness standards.
- Be punctual, reliable, and ready to assist the operations team as required.
