Aircond Technician

Job Scope:

- Carrying out the service & maintenance works according Standards, procedures & processes
- Troubleshoots, performing emergency repairs and undertakes hands on repair works for any related issues
- Ability to troubleshoot the different air conditioner components accurately and identify the faulty components and propose required parts to be changed.
- Make recommendations to replace equipment if expected cost to repair exceeds possible replacement cost.
- Make minor installation decisions
- Make routine adjustments to maximize operational efficiency
- Perform regular cleaning of the equipment
- To perform scheduled preventive maintenance, servicing, testing and repairs of air-conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
- To record data / maintain job worksheet when inspecting systems, such as temperature of equipment, fuel consumption and hours of operation
- Order and maintain parts needed to repair and maintain HVAC Equipment
- Manage relationship with all major vendor accounts
- Work closely with technical team
- Knowledge on inverter type aircond, VRV/VRF unit, split unit cassette unit
- Ability to service and repair at least one or more of the Air Conditioning items like Split Units, VRV/VRF, Packaged Units, Air Handling Units, Fan Coil Units, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Pumps and Motors.
- Able to install, inspect, test, troubleshoot service blowers and coils
- To check tensions of belts and motors, experience in chemical service and normal maintenance

Job Requirements:

- Background in Electrical, Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 2 years’ working experience
- Having GDL License will be an advantage
- Able to read electrical schematics and mechanical blueprints
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Able to perform technical hands-on repair and troubleshooting of aircond system
- Ability to organize work and meet deadlines
- Willing to work extra hours or beyond the normal working hours
- Good interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure, multi-tasking and a team player to be part of our team to provide air conditioning maintenance services (planned preventive and corrective maintenance) for full range of air conditioning systems such as Split Air Conditioners, Air-Cooled Packaged Systems, Water Cooled Packaged Systems, Chilled Water Systems and VRV/VRF Systems.

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,300.00 per month
