The incumbent is to support the company’s business by assessing risks in accordance to underwriting guidelines within the granted authority. The incumbent is also responsible in all other new business processes including non-disclosure cases. The incumbent is also to support the audit and checks to ensure that all underwriting process and philosophy is in line with expectation of risk, compliance and department.
- _ Supports underwriting operation in ensuring the department meets the agreed section’s productivity and performance._
- _ Underwrites complex cases including those of needing to referral to Retakaful and external parties._
- _ Be part of the Underwriting Quality on Risk and Compliance, ensuring that day to day work of cases underwritten is compliant to all regulatory and corporate requirements._
- _ Non-Disclosure underwriting in providing underwriting advise to claims department and review Non-Disclosure referrals from Certificate Servicing department._
- _ Supports Production manager in managing the team’s output ensuring that all underwriters meets their potential in productivity and that maximum output is achieved, meeting company’s service standard and target._
- _ Involve in projects or any other assigned duties by Supervisor._
