**Position Title**: Technician - Smart Farming
**Location**: Puchong, Selangor
**Employment Type**: Full-time
**Reports To**: Engineers

**Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Installation and Maintenance**:

- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of IoT-based farming equipment, including sensors, weather stations, and control panels.
- Perform basic troubleshooting and repairs on hardware and software components.
- **Project Execution**:

- Support the deployment of smart farming solutions at various project sites.
- Ensure the quality and reliability of installed systems in accordance with project specifications.
- **Fieldwork**:

- Conduct site visits to assess conditions and gather data.
- Collect and log information from soil tests, weather data, and other relevant parameters.
- **Learning and Development**:

- Participate in training sessions to understand advanced smart farming technologies and practices.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and innovations in the industry.
- **Client Support**:

- Provide on-site and remote support to clients for installed systems.
- Offer guidance on system usage and maintenance.
- **Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of installations, maintenance, and client interactions.
- Prepare and submit periodic project reports to supervisors.

**Requirements**:

- **Education and Qualifications**:

- Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Agriculture Technology, IT, or related fields.
- **Skills and Attributes**:

- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Basic understanding of IoT systems and/or agricultural technologies is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- **Physical and Travel Requirements**:

- Willing to travel frequently to project sites.
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions.
- **Other**:

- Possess a valid driver’s license and access to transportation.
