Support the COO and Principal in setting the culture of positive behaviour and habits among all students throughout the school. - Build positive relationships with boarders and their families, providing support and guidance as needed. - Responsible for managing efficiently the staffing, organisation and resources of the boarding house. To ensure all boarding staff members are properly trained, scheduling staff shifts, and overseeing staff performance. - Lead the Boarding House team, to create a sense of belonging for all boarding students in accordance with the school culture, founding principles, mottoes and school vision. - Initiates, develops and organise induction programme for boarders and resident staffs. - Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote the safety, well-being, good discipline and growth of the boarders in the boarding house. This includes developing rules and guidelines for behavior, discipline, and communication. - Maintain a safe and healthy environment to ensure that the boarding house is clean, safe, and in compliance with all health and safety regulations. This includes managing maintenance and repairs, laundry services arrangements and coordinating with health professionals as needed. - Manage finances and resources of the boarding house, including budgeting, and managing resources such as supplies, equipment, and technology in the boarding house. - Collaborate with external organizations, such as schools, social services agencies, NGOs and community organizations, to organize programs and activities (evening and weekend extra-curricular activities) for boarders. - Communicate with parents/guardians, to ensure that they are fully informed about their child's progress and welfare; to ensure that family incidents and problems are brought to the attention of those who need to know. - As part of the management team, establishes and collaborates effective working relationships with colleagues across all departments and external parties, if any. - Behaves, acts and communicates in a professional manner that supports the ethos of the school. - Maintains strict confidentiality in relation to appropriate and identified "P&C" school information and keeps safe and secure all information shared during the course of duties. The lower secondary refers to Key Stage 3: Year 7 to Year 9 (age 11 to 15). The upper secondary refers to Key Stage 4: Year 10 to Year 11 (age 14 to 17). IGCSE examination preparations are carried out during Cambridge Upper Secondary. Pre-University programs are also available at SISM (Year 12 - 13). We will be offering the International Baccalaureate Programme and the Cambridge International A levels upon approval as mentioned earlier.
