Steward Supervisor

**QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS**:

- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Bahasa Melayu & English language.
- Certificate or higher required or equivalent experience in the form of 2-4 years hotel operations.

**JOB FUNCTIONS**:

- Oversee the overall functions of stewarding team throughout the kitchen areas including but not limited to setting up work stations, maintaining high levels of cleanliness, sanitation, storage of kitchen utensils, dishes, proper utilization of dishwashing machines as well as usage of correct level of chemicals.
- Maintain an efficient traffic patterns in kitchen area at all time.
- Controls and analyses cost, breakage, quality of support provided to all areas, condition and cleanliness of equipment, and guest satisfaction.
- Keep abreast to the latest safety and sanitation regulations, educate stewards on current safety and sanitation issues to ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations.
- Responsible to inform the management on any hazardous situations, emergencies or threats to the safety of guests, employees or company’s assets.
- Responsible to ensure all equipment are well prepared and ready for the following shift’s work.
- Responsible of all the ordering and managing the par stocks of all required material and equipment.
- Provide staff motivation and promote mutual trust, respect and co-operation among team members.
- Strive for continuous service improvement by effective communication and guidance to staff in understanding guest needs, proper respond to feedback, and individual coaching when needed.
- Ensure all disciplinary procedures and documentations are completed in a righteous and timely manner.
- Ensure company and department policies are administered fairly and consistently.
- Ensure all standards and regulations of all food handling and sanitation are adhered at all time.
- Provide full cooperation with the food and beverage managers & chefs and ensure efficient communication of all issues related to them whenever they occur.
- Demonstrates any new techniques and equipment to staff.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
