Compositing Supervisor

We are looking for Compositing Supervisor that possess high level of knowledge in lighting & compositing in CGI production for TV Series, combined with strong creative, detailed artistic and visual instincts. This position is a supervisory level will report directly to the Head of Production or Producer.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review, approve and benchmark passes of shaders, mastershots, light setup, composites, post-production workflow and all FX requirement for projects.
- Create, review and approve LRC mastershots
- Work closely with the LRC teams to ensure that the lighting & composited shots complement and meet the overall aesthetics of show and the set quality standards.
- Provide guidance and artistic direction or notes to the LRC artists to achieve the desired lighting & composite effects and maintain the visual continuity of the series.
- Assist artists and technical team to troubleshoot and resolve any LRC-related issues, such as artifacts, flickering, blurry, error in lighting layers, DOF or excessive render times.
- Partner with all departments and support production requirements for real-time workflow in Maya and UE environment.
- Assist artists and post-production team in tool development, and in researching process to achieve the desired quality & testing new methods in both traditional Maya & UE real-time pipelines.
- Responsible to ensure and maintain the quality, overall look, color balance, and quality for assigned shots and sequences to create uniformity in all finished work.

**Requirements**:

- 6+ years or extensive experience working in CG Post Production including Lighting and Compositing.
- Kowledge of the standard, professional editing systems for broadcast quality shots
- Knowledge of the common media container formats and codecs for animation production
- Advance experience in UE, Maya, Nuke and other editing systems.
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for quality control, ensuring that lighting inconsistencies or errors are identified and addressed.
- Ability to drive the visual of characters, sets, locations and environments working closely with the LRC and creative team.
- Overall artistic eye with a deep understanding of traditional principles such as surface properties, color harmony, lighting layers, beauty and value balance.
