**JOB SUMMARY**

Promotional, corporate, and social events are planned and coordinated by event managers. They oversee a variety of events, making sure the intended audience is involved and that the event's message is effectively promoted. A brand's or an organization's success is greatly influenced by events.

In your role as an event manager, you will plan parties, business incentive trips, conferences, seminars, and exhibits. From the initial stages of planning to executing the event and doing the post-event assessment, you will oversee the entire process. The position is mostly hands-on and frequently calls for teamwork.

**MANDATORY REQUIREMENT**
- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality/Tourism Management.
- Minimum 2 years work experience as Assistant Event Manager / Senior Event Officer or any other related position.
- Preferably in Hotel line or related industry

**JOB RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Communicate with consumers to ascertain their precise needs for the event

create thorough event proposals that include information about the dates, locations, vendors, staffing, legal requirements, and budgets.
- Investigate locations, vendors, and contractors; after that, haggle over costs and select, manage, and oversee vendors and all event-related logistics (such as transportation, food, and venue).
- Coordinate with the sales and marketing departments to get the event known and promoted.
- Oversee all pre-event preparations, including scheduling guest lecturers and assigning delegate packets.
- On the day of the event, arrange suppliers, respond to customer inquiries, and troubleshoot to make sure everything goes according to plan and within budget.
- Oversee a group of employees, providing thorough briefs

**REQUIREMENT & SKILLS**
- Interpersonal and communication abilities, organizational abilities, and attention to detail
- Negotiating techniques to get the greatest deal from suppliers, contractors, and venues
- Time management abilities, the capacity to operate under pressure, project management expertise, problem-solving abilities, and diplomacy are necessary to guarantee the smooth operation of an event.
- Capabilities in budget management and sales and marketing to draw sponsorship and publicize the event
- A proactive, adaptable, goal-driven strategy
- IT and administrative abilities
- Excitement and self-motivation.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
