**I. Job Responsibilities**
- **Customs Clearance Management**:

- Handle full-process customs brokerage for import-export goods to/from Malaysia, including document review (e.g., commercial invoice, packing list, CO, 报关单), customs declaration, and duty calculation.
- Liaise with customs authorities, freight forwarders, shipping lines, etc., to resolve exceptions such as inspections, document amendments, and returns, ensuring compliant and efficient clearance.
- Monitor changes in Malaysian customs policies (e.g., MITI regulations, ASEAN-China FTA rules) and update customs procedures to mitigate compliance risks.
- **Data and Document Management**:

- Maintain import-export ledgers, statistics on customs data (e.g., shipment volume, duties, clearance time), and submit regular analytical reports.
- File and preserve customs documents (e.g., 报关单，certificates of origin, customs release notes) for integrity and traceability.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:

- Coordinate with procurement, sales, and warehouse teams to align shipping plans and track logistics progress (e.g., booking, trucking, warehousing).
- Assist finance team with duty payment, tax rebates, and provide cost accounting data for customs-related expenses.
- **Process Optimization**:

- Identify pain points in customs operations and propose improvements (e.g., digital customs declaration systems, streamlined document workflows).
- Assist in establishing customs SOPs to enhance team-wide operational consistency.

**II. QualificationsRequired**
- **Education**: College degree or above, major in International Trade, Logistics Management, or Customs Brokerage preferred.
- **Experience**: 1+ year of customs clearance experience for Malaysia trade, familiar with China-Malaysia customs regulations (e.g., ASEAN-China FTA origin rules, Malaysia MITI requirements).
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in China Single Window, Malaysia MyCustoms system, and customs brokerage software.
- Strong English reading/writing skills (able to handle English customs documents independently); Cantonese/Malay language skills are a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables); ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) experience is preferred.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 36 months

Pay: RM2,491.80 - RM10,514.46 per month
