What will you do?

In this position you will join our Infrastructure business, where you will play an integral part in a team of highly skilled specialists that ‘bring ideas to life’ for our clients across all types of infrastructure projects - from rural access roads to complex freeways, toll roads, system interchanges and water security.

Here are the key things you will do to ‘bring ideas to life’.- As a Sustainability and Climate Change Consultant at Aurecon, you will help our clients develop and implement sustainable and responsible business strategies while reducing their environmental impact.- In this hybrid full-time role, you will be based in Petaling Jaya with flexibility to work remotely.- Your day-to-day tasks will include potential client liaison, expanding client network, analysing data, conducting research, creating reports, and providing advice to clients on embedding sustainability into their business operations.What can you bring to the team?

Firstly, you will share our genuine passion for re-imagining engineering and be someone that actively pursues continuous learning to help shape the future. You will also need the following:
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, or related field- Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in sustainability consulting or related field- Experience working with clients in a variety of industries to develop and implement sustainability strategies and recommendations- Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks, policies, certifications and environmental regulations (international and local)- Proficiency in data analysis and modelling, GHG inventory, Climate Scenario Analysis and Forecast, Decarbonisation as well as experience with sustainability reporting and data visualization tools- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate sustainability concepts and ideas to clients and stakeholders- Experience with project management and working in cross-functional teams- Professional certification in sustainability such as GRI, ISSB or GARP is preferred but not compulsory- Experience in oil and gas, energy sectors is an added advantage- Fluency in English is required, and fluency in Bahasa Malaysia is preferre.- Only Malaysian citizens or Malaysian work permit holders need to apply
