Your new responsibilities
- Supplier or technology screening as category expert supporting R&D and production
- New equipment or new supplier introduction including first inquiry, RfQ, qualification, ordering and final release
- Early involvement in capacity expansion and new product projects
- Price and contract negotiation, realization and documentation of contract award decisions
- Supplier escalation (Supplier & Category Management) and being the contact point for supplier related matters
- Develop the Equipment Roadmaps and Supplier Strategies within the Capital Equipment Procurement Team (CEPT)
- Coordination of Technology Roadmap Meetings with suppliers
- Supplier evaluations and development&
- Prepare and conduct supplier audit
- Development of cost analyses (total cost of ownership) and supplier cost structure analyses
- Self-contained alignment of procurement relevant activities with the global procurement network and all functional members in the project team
- Representation of the Category Manager in projects and meetings&

What we look for
- Degree in engineering Mechanical/ Electrical/ Microelectronics/ Physics/ Semiconductors any related field
- Min. 3+ years working experience in semiconductor / optical semiconductor / contract manufacturing industry; preferably with suppliers' interactions
- Target orientation regarding cost, milestones, quality of the procured goods
- Excellent communication and persuasion skills
- Able to handle conflict
- Ability to work in a global international environment incl. multiple time zones and global business trip
- Collaboration, complementation, honest, reliable, open minded, initiative
