Construction Manager

**Description**
- Develop and implement construction plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with project management, engineering, procurement, and other relevant teams.
- Ensure that all construction activities are aligned with project milestones and deadlines.
- Oversee all on-site construction activities, including civil, mechanical, and electrical works.
- Manage and supervise the construction team, including subcontractors and vendors.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and quality standards during construction.
- Allocate and manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment.
- Monitor resource utilization to ensure efficient and effective use.
- Address any resource-related issues or shortages promptly.
- Ensure all construction work meets design specifications and quality standards.
- Implement and monitor quality control procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deficiencies or non-conformances.
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including progress reports, daily logs, and inspection records.
- Prepare detailed construction reports and documentation.
- Report on progress, issues, and resolutions to senior management.
- Liaise with project stakeholders, including clients, regulatory authorities, and community representatives.
- Address any concerns or issues raised by stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication and collaboration among all parties involved in the project.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all construction activities adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
**Requirement**
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, preferably in power plant projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for project management and reporting.
**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM20,000.00 - RM35,000.00 per month
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Labuan: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (preferred)
