**Purpose of the role**

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our team at a pivotal moment—as we implement a new ERP system to strengthen and scale our financial operations. This internship is not just about learning the basics; it’s about becoming part of a foundational transition that will shape how our finance function operates going forward.

As a Finance Intern with a focus on **Transactional Finance**, you’ll gain critical exposure to real-world processes in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reconciliations, while also playing a hands-on role in ERP adoption and process digitization.

**General Duties and Responsibilities**
- **Accounts Payable & Receivable**: Assist in managing AP/AR workflows, tracking due dates ensuring follow-ups are completed, and to make sure our revenue and costs are flowing through in a timely fashion
- **Reconciliations**: Perform banking reconciliation, vendor statements, and intercompany accounts to maintain clean books
- **ERP System**: Participate in ERP onboarding, training, and data migration efforts; learn how to navigate and execute core finance transactions within the new system
- **Documentation & Controls**: Maintain proper financial documentation and support compliance with internal policies and controls
- **Month-End Closing**: Contribute to month-end close processes by preparing schedules and performing checks under supervision
- **Reporting Support**: Assist in generating financial reports and data summaries to support decision-making and audit readiness
- **Cross-Team Coordination**: Liaise with Operational, Support functions and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial transaction flow

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
- Solid understanding of financial accounting and management accounting principles and processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, familiarity with financial software/tools is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
