Construction Manager

**Job Summary**

Gamuda Engineering is looking for a driven and experienced **Construction Manager** to lead the construction execution of a **Water Treatment Plant** project. This role is pivotal in ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with design and quality standards.

As the Construction Manager, you will oversee all site operations, coordinate across disciplines, manage subcontractors, and provide strong leadership to the site team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead day-to-day construction activities and manage site progress according to the approved schedule.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, M&E, and architectural teams to ensure smooth interfacing of works.
- Manage subcontractors, site supervisors, and construction personnel to ensure timely and safe execution.
- Monitor construction quality, safety, and environmental compliance in line with project and regulatory requirements.
- Review construction drawings, resolve technical issues, and ensure site works align with specifications.
- Track project milestones, manage risks, and propose solutions to avoid delays and cost overruns.
- Liaise with consultants, authorities, and the client on site-related matters.
- Prepare and present progress reports, site memos, and necessary documentation.
- To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
- Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.

**Qualifications**
- Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- **Minimum 10 years** of experience in construction management, preferably with experience in **water treatment plants, infrastructure, or utility projects**.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale civil or infrastructure projects.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder coordination skills.
- Familiar with local authority requirements, construction permits, and site safety regulations.

Pay: From RM10,000.00 per month
