Intern- Front Office Department

Greet visitors, answer phone calls, and assist with guest inquiries in a friendly and professional manner.
- Support the team with guest check-ins and check-outs under supervision.
- Provide guests with basic information about facilities, nearby attractions, and services.
- Assist with managing room reservations, including handling bookings, cancellations, and updates.
- Help conduct routine checks on room conditions and report any cleanliness or maintenance issues.
- Assist with basic billing inquiries and help resolve minor discrepancies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front office area.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Prepare simple daily check-in/check-out lists and other guest-related documents.
- Help identify recurring issues and suggest improvements where needed.
- Perform basic data entry tasks, such as updating customer records and maintaining databases.
- Carry out any ad-hoc tasks assigned by supervisors.
**Requirements**:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Hospitality Management or a related field.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to interact with guests from diverse backgrounds.
- Willingness to learn, with strong problem-solving and positive attitude.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to operational needs.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
**Job Type**: Internship
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
