**Reports To**:

- Assistant Manager, Lease Accounting

**Role Purpose**:

- Process the accounting postings and reconciliations for leasing related transactions, i.e. aircrafts, property, ground vehicle etc and ensure compliance with lease accounting standards IFRS 16.

**Key Accountability**:

- Execute the full life cycle of lease contract in REFX system (create, maintain, post adjustment to FI, adjustment, renewal, give notice).
- Tracking lease payments in REFX system and verify against the original invoice from lessor.
- Report and make the necessary amendment based on invoices discrepancy from lessors or any other changes.
- Review terms and conditions for any modification on the existing lease contracts.
- Ensures consistent, timely and effective communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Undertake additional responsibilities to support / replace other team member roles, if required.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Degree in Accounting / Finance and/ or professional qualification (ACCA, ICAEW, CPA, MIA, etc.)
- 2 years working experience in Accounting and/ or Finance or in the related field

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Possess a strong understanding of basic accounting principles and practices and internal policy;
- A team player, possess a good understanding of leasing matters and possess an eye for detail;
- Able to manage diverse stakeholders;
- Builds relationships between teams and reporting lines;
- Well-versed with SAP Software & Solutions and other business/accounting tools;
- Good knowledge of Word processing, spreadsheet and presentation tools (Word / Excel / PowerPoint/Power BI);
- Industry Knowledge: Highly prefer knowledge of airline industry or related.

**Key Challenges**:

- Errors / Corrections required per 1,000 transactions
- Breaches of SLA / Service standard
- Following up and obtaining timely information from BU
