**Position Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Present menus to guests and provide detailed information on menu items, including specials and beverage options.
- Take accurate food and drink orders from guests and ensure prompt and accurate entry into the POS system.
- Relay orders to the kitchen and ensure timely and accurate delivery of food and beverages.
- Assist with setting tables and arranging table settings to create an inviting and comfortable dining atmosphere.
- Ensure the cleanliness and tidiness of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints, and escalate issues to the manager, if necessary.
- Provide exceptional service by anticipating guest needs, offering recommendations, and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience.
- Upsell food and beverage items and promote daily specials to maximize revenue.
- Process guest payments and handle cash transactions accurately.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and other restaurant team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and hygienic working environment.
- Adhere to company policies and standards regarding guest service, conduct, and appearance.

**Qualification required**:
Previous experience as a waiter/waitress or in a similar customer service role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of food and beverage menus and ability to make recommendations.
- Ability to work well as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required.
- Physical stamina and the ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy trays or objects.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills.
- Food handling and safety certification is a plus.

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
