Machining Inspector

**This is a fixed-term contract employment for 6 months. If the contract is successfully completed and both sides are satisfied, there have high chances to be converted as permanent employees.**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform in-process and final inspections of CNC machined parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, CMM, etc.).
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external customer requirements.
- Collaborate with machinists and engineers to resolve quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within the quality and production departments.
- Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized inspection area.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or required; technical certificate or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 2-5 years of experience in CNC machining inspection or quality control.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and GD&T.
- Hands-on experience with inspection tools and equipment (e.g., micrometers, CMMs, surface plates).
- Strong understanding of machining processes and tolerancing.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work shifts and overtime as required.
