**REQUIREMENT FOR LEAN SIX SIGMA YELLOW BELT**

**1. Educational Background**
- **Minimum Requirement**: A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as engineering, operations management, industrial engineering, or a related discipline.
- Advanced education (e.g., Master’s degree in Engineering or Business) can be an added advantage.

**2. Certification**
- **Mandatory to have Certification of Train The Trainer (TTT)**:

- Certified **Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt** or higher (Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred) from a recognized certification body such as:

- ASQ (American Society for Quality)
- IASSC (International Association for Six Sigma Certification)
- Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC)

**3. Work Experience**
- Experience in the **manufacturing industry** is essential, with a proven record of implementing process improvements.
- Hands-on involvement in Lean tools like Kaizen, 5S, Fishbone Diagrams, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and basic statistical analysis.

**4. Training Experience**
- Prior experience as a **trainer, facilitator, or educator**, preferably delivering Lean Six Sigma training programs.
- Ability to simplify complex Lean Six Sigma concepts for Yellow Belt-level participants.
- Experience in using real-life case studies, interactive teaching techniques, and practical exercises to engage learners.

**5. Accreditation/Authorization**
- Approval or authorization as a Lean Six Sigma trainer from a recognized certification body (if applicable).
- Proven history of guiding participants toward successful Yellow Belt certification.

**6. Skills and Attributes**
- **Teaching and Presentation Skills**:

- Clear and engaging communication skills to explain technical concepts to beginners.
- Proficiency in developing training materials (e.g., slides, manuals, and workbooks).
- **Technical Expertise**:

- Strong grasp of Lean Six Sigma tools and techniques, including DMAIC methodology.
- Proficiency in using statistical tools/software (e.g., Minitab, Excel, JMP).
- **Soft Skills**:

- Effective facilitation and coaching skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team-building abilities.

**7. Success Metrics**
- Evidence of a high **success rate among past participants** (e.g., certification pass rates, implementation of projects after training).
- Ability to provide testimonials, reviews, or references from previous training engagements.

**8. Additional Preferences**
- Multilingual capability for diverse training environments.
- Availability to customize training for the organization's specific needs.
