**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES**
- To operate the IETS, scrubber & maintain proper SW storage.
- To replenish or regularly top-up the IETS chemicals in the chemical tank, for continuous supply of chemicals into the treatment tank.
- To inspect all the technical equipment & machine of IETS, scrubber, and overall condition of SW store
- To conduct weekly cleaning & verification of the pH sensors in the IETS treatment tanks
- Conduct weekly backwash of the IETS sand & carbon filter, or if the differential pressure (DP) is above than 2 bars.
- Operate the IETS clarifier sludge pump on daily basis, to transfer the water/sludge from clarifier tank to sludge tank.
- Operate the IETS filter press pump on daily basis, to transfer the sludge from sludge tank to filter press for sludge compaction process.
- Clean/scrape the compacted sludge in the filter press machine on daily basis.
- Dispose the sludge in the jumbo bag & store in SW store accordingly.
- Top-up/adjust chemical to water circulation pump of scrubber to maintain pH in good condition.
- Change water for water circulation pump of Packed Tower Scrubber
- Maintain all the IETS, scrubber, SW records as per established Work Instruction
- To report any abnormalities of IETS and scrubber operation, & SW management to the competent person.
**QUALIFICATION/ EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT**
- Minimum of certificate in technical or environmental field.
- Working experience in technical field for minimum of 1 year.
- Working experience in operating environmental facilities is preferred.
