**JOB SUMMARY**

When interacting with visitors, the greatest guest service staff will have an abundance of patience and will cheerfully and gracefully attend to all of their needs.

**MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS**:

- **1 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE IN HOTEL LINE OR RELATED INDUSTRY**:

- **MUST ABLE TO COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH**:

- **EXPERIENCE IN 3, 4, OR 5 STAR HOTEL**

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Check the specifics of arrival and departure. Observe any unique requests or arrangements. Fulfil the requirements of the department's policies and procedures for checking people in and out. Communicate with pertinent Front Office Department sections.
- Update and manage the room state effectively, and notify superiors when anything needs to be done. Communicate frequently with the housekeeping division.
- Observe guests' in-house accounts in accordance with established protocols and post all bills as part of the cashiering activity. Notify the supervisor of any inconsistencies.
- Complete the audit assignment at night.
- Have in-depth product knowledge of all hotel amenities, such as the operating hours of the restaurant and the available recreational opportunities. Capable of consistently spreading accurate information.
- Making visitors feel welcome and acknowledging their arrival.
- Executing the check-in and check-out procedures.
- Assisting visitors at the front desk.
- Making room assignments and handling administrative tasks.
- Delivering communications and mail.
- Accepting payments from visitors.
- Coordinating with personnel management and bell service.
- Being a resource of knowledge for visitors on a range of topics, including food
- Recommendations and transportation.
- Answering requests for food and drink.
- Meeting both generic and specific needs.
- Calming heated or contentious situations with visitors.

**REQUIREMENT & SKILLS**:

- A hospitality certificate or diploma is useful.
- Outstanding communication abilities with others.
- Excellent communication both in writing and speaking.
- Excellent organising and time management abilities.
- Experience resolving conflicts.
- Patience as well as adept listening.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM1,500.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
