**About the role**:
As a **Finance Manager**, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the organization’s financial operations and driving strategic financial planning. This is a key leadership position responsible for managing accounting functions, regulatory compliance, budgeting, and financial reporting, while providing data-driven insights to support business growth. You will also serve as a trusted advisor to management, lead cross-functional financial initiatives, and mentor the finance team to ensure operational excellence and sustainable performance.

This role is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional with strong regulatory knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a passion for continuous improvement in a dynamic business environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Financial Leadership**: Oversee the full range of finance operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, and compliance. Ensure accurate and timely financial data while maintaining strong internal controls and alignment with business goals.
- **Financial Reporting & Strategic Analysis**: Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Deliver insights and key financial metrics to management, enabling effective decision-making and strategic planning.
- **Budgeting & Forecasting**: Lead the company’s annual budgeting process and manage rolling forecasts. Track financial performance, analyze variances, and provide forward-looking insights to improve business outcomes.
- **Regulatory & Tax Compliance**: Ensure full compliance with local and international financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax laws. Manage relationships with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies, and support all statutory audit and filing processes.
- **Process Optimization & Systems Enhancement**:Drive improvements in financial processes and systems by developing and implementing SOPs, streamlining workflows, and identifying automation opportunities to support scalability and efficiency.
- **Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management**:Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance across business units. Collaborate effectively with internal departments and external partners including auditors, banks, and government agencies.

**Requirements**:

- Possess a minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or related functions.
- Professional certifications such as **ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, MICPA, or membership with MIA** are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication skills in both English and Mandarin, with the ability to liaise effectively with Chinese counterparts.
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
