A well-established SME business in the semiconductor sector is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the company into its next phase of growth and transformation. As the company transitions to a more corporate structure, this position offers a unique opportunity to influence strategic decisions and drive operational excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Leadership & Strategy**: Oversee the company’s business strategy, ensuring growth, profitability, and operational efficiency.
- **Business Development**: Cultivate and maintain key relationships in the semiconductor industry to drive new business opportunities and secure long-term contracts.
- **Scaling the Business**: Lead efforts to scale the company, ensuring the successful execution of large contracts and managing the company’s transition during a buyout.
- **Operational Management**: Manage day-to-day operations and the 80-person team, ensuring smooth business execution and optimal resource allocation.
- **Cleanroom & M&E Expertise**: Utilize your expertise in M&E (HVAC/cleanroom) services or semiconductor manufacturing to maintain excellence in operations.
- **Corporate Transformation**: Shift the business from a family-run model to a more structured corporate environment, implementing standardized processes and performance tracking.

**Key Qualifications**:

- **Industry Expertise**: Deep knowledge of the semiconductor sector, with experience in M&E services (HVAC/cleanroom) or semiconductor manufacturing.
- **Leadership**: Proven experience scaling businesses with annual turnovers of RM500 million and above. Strong background in team leadership and business growth.
- **Business Development**: Excellent relationship-building skills with the ability to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- **Entrepreneurial Mindset**: A strategic, resourceful, and opportunistic mindset, with a track record of success in navigating complex business challenges.
- **Location**: Must be based in Penang or open to relocating.

- Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

- 13th month salary
- Performance bonus
- Yearly bonus
