1. To source, negotiate and purchase necessary (e.g. parts, materials & machinery) from identified and reliable suppliers.
2. Identify potential suppliers, conduct negotiations, and establish favorable terms and conditions.
3. To create and maintain good relationships with suppliers and vendors, monitor contract performance and adherence to terms.
4. Prepare and distribute RFQ documents to potential suppliers, Issue Purchase order (PO), follow-up Delivery and check Delivery Order. Monitor and purchase of HQ office supplies.
5. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.
6. Work with finance and budgeting teams to ensure procurement activities align with financial goals.
7. Assist the Manager in managing some human resource functions and handling routine administrative tasks to support the procurement team.
8. Assist in the preparation and distribution of procurement-related documents.
9. Perform day-to-day administrative tasks such as ensuring proper documentation of procurement activities, contracts, and correspondence.
**Requirements / Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Eagerness to learn and develop in the field of procurement.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
**Salary**: RM2,000.00 per month
