**Location: Petaling Jaya**
- Ensure that accounting processes and journal entries are in accordance with relevant accounting principles, internal controls and group policy as applicable
- Monitor accrual/provisioning amount on a regular basis
- Ensure that journal entries are supported with relevant documents for verification and approval purpose and no omission of journal entries posting to General Ledger
- Responsible that all documents are validated and processed before month end closing or stipulated deadline
- Check overtrades support claim to ensure accuracy and timely follow up. Work closely with Northern Finance Operations team to ensure completeness of inter-company transactions accounted in respective company's book
- Work with Functional Stakeholders to suggest modifications to processes, coordinate new products and implement relevant system functionality
- Review changes in the balance sheet, income statement items and reasonableness of Gross Profit Margin
- Conduct ageing analysis and review on clearing accounts as applicable
- Ensure control amount in general ledger accurately tied to sub ledger, to achieve zero balance variance

**Requirements**:

- **3 years and above experience in General Ledger**:

- Deep understanding and hands on experience with GL
- Professional qualification (or pursuing)**:ACCA, CPA, CIMA** are favourable
- Strong knowledge of **accounting principles**:

- Familiar with **inter-company transactions**, **accruals**, and **budget variance analysis**
