Key Responsibilities
1. Leadership & Team Oversight - Manage overall business operations and performance across departments. - Manage the Operations Manager, Assistant Manager, Team Leaders, and all outlet staff. - Plan and implement both short-term and long-term business strategies. - Oversee daily operations across all outlets, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Ensure alignment with company goals, service standards, and operational efficiency.
- Lead, train, and monitor the performance of all Heads of Department (HODs).
- Resolve staff-related issues promptly and effectively.
- Set clear KPIs, monitor team performance, and conduct regular reviews.
- Foster a professional, disciplined, and results-oriented work culture, and continuous improvement.
2. SOP & Workflow Development
- Identify gaps in existing processes and develop standardized SOPs for retail, operations, inventory, and customer service.
- Design and implement efficient workflows to streamline operations across outlets and departments.
- Regularly review and update SOPs to align with company growth, best practices, and regulatory changes.
- Oversee documentation and version control of all operational procedures.
3. Continuous Improvement & Training
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement across teams and departments.
- Introduce and lead internal training programs to upskill team members on SOPs, workflows, and company standards.
- Encourage operational innovation by soliciting feedback, identifying bottlenecks, and leading upgrades or optimizations.
- Promote knowledge sharing, cross-training, and operational maturity within the organization.
4. Retail & Operational Management
- Oversee daily retail and logístical operations to ensure service, display, cleanliness, and stock levels are maintained.
- Resolve outlet-level issues, manage escalations, and ensure SOP compliance is enforced consistently.
- Coordinate new outlet setup, renovations, and operational expansion initiatives.
5. Finance & Cost Control
- Take full responsibility for the company’s Profit & Loss (P&L) performance
- Manage budgets efficiently and drive profitability.
- Review and approve all procurement, invoices, and payment requests before submission to Finance.
- Prepare and present regular financial and sales performance reports to top management. 6. Sales Performance Monitoring
- Monitor sales trends across outlets and provide operational support to help meet targets. - Identify opportunities for outlet expansion and strategic partnerships.
- Assess market potential and introduce new initiatives such as products, promotions, or innovations.
- Ensure readiness for CEO-led product launches, campaigns, or promotions.
- Support frontline teams with resources and structure to improve sales conversion and customer experience.
7. Quality & Brand Standards Monitoring
- Ensure that product and service quality consistently aligns with Maven’s brand image.
- Maintain outlet presentation, visual branding, and uphold the company’
8. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Manage relationships with suppliers, landlords, and service vendors to ensure reliable delivery and favorable terms.
- Oversee contract renewals, vendor evaluations, and partnership compliance.
- Represent the company in site visits, regulatory inspections, and external meetings when required. 9. Reporting & Insights
- Compile weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports on operations, cost efficiency, staffing, and retail performance.
- Use data and feedback loops to drive decisions, optimize workflows, and propose improvements to the CEO.
10. CEO Delegation & Executive Support
- Make informed operational decisions on behalf of the CEO where necessary.
- Chair internal meetings, assign responsibilities, and follow through on directives.
- Ensure all decisions, changes, and communications from the CEO are clearly cascaded and implemented.
Experienced Required
1. Minimum 10-15 years in a retail operations or general management role.
2. Proven leadership experience managing 5+ outlets or regional operations.
3. Experience in SOP design, performance reviews, and vendor management.
4. Strong understanding of cost control, retail sales metrics, and training programs.
**Qualifications**:
1.Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management, Marketing, or related fields.
2.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior management role (preferably in the retail or cosmetics industry).
3. Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
4. Competent in data analysis, financial reporting, and KPI tracking.
5. Proactive, dedicated, and with a proven track record in sales and operational
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM10,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
