**Responsibilities**:
**Educational Program Development**:
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to assess the educational needs of the nursing staff.
- Develop and implement educational programs that address identified learning needs and promote continuous professional development.
**Orientation and Onboarding**:
- Facilitate orientation and onboarding programs for new nursing staff, ensuring a smooth transition into their roles.
- Develop and update orientation materials to reflect current best practices and hospital policies.
**In-Service Training**:
- Plan and conduct in-service training sessions for nursing staff based on identified areas for improvement or new healthcare practices.
**Clinical Competency Assessments**:
- Design and implement clinical competency assessments to ensure that nursing staff maintain proficiency in essential skills.
- Provide feedback and support to staff members as needed to address competency gaps.
**Continuous Education**:
- Stay informed about advances in healthcare, nursing practices, and educational methodologies.
- Integrate new knowledge into educational programs and share updates with nursing staff.
**Preceptorship Programs**:
- Develop and oversee preceptorship programs to support the professional development of new and less experienced nursing staff.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to preceptors.
**Collaboration with Clinical Leadership**:
- Work closely with clinical leaders, including Nurse Managers and Directors, to align educational initiatives with clinical priorities.
- Participate in collaborative efforts to address specific clinical challenges and improve patient care outcomes.
**Documentation and Reporting**:
- Maintain accurate records of educational activities, including attendance, assessments, and evaluations.
- Prepare reports on the effectiveness of educational programs for review by nursing leadership.
**Feedback and Evaluation**:
- Solicit feedback from nursing staff regarding educational programs and adjust content and delivery methods accordingly.
- Conduct evaluations to assess the impact of education on clinical practice.
Pay: RM35.00 - RM50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 - 45 per week
