**Main responsibilities**:

- Prepare and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns (e.g. VAT, income tax)
- Address and resolve all tax-related queries, audits, and assessments.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), and General Ledger (GL) operations, ensuring adherence to tax policies and regulations.
- Track outstanding receivables and ensure prompt invoicing to clients.
- Conduct monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare accurate financial statements on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Collaborate with external auditors to fulfill audit requirements and ensure efficient audit completion.
- Manage corporate compliance tasks, including annual reports, registration of loose-leaf books, and accounting system accreditation.
- Ensure timely submission of statutory reports to relevant government bodies.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within the finance department.
- Coordinate with banks, tax advisors, and company secretaries as necessary.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- At least three years of experience as a Tax Accountant, with in-depth knowledge of tax regulations.
- Proven track record in tax compliance, reporting, and audit support.
- Good analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex tax rules.
- Ability to stay up-to-date with evolving tax legislation and implement necessary changes proactively.
- Able to handle high workload, especially during peak period.

Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
