**Position**: Chief Financial Officer

**Location**: Menara AIA Sentral, Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur

**Tenure**:Permanent (probation 6 months)

**Working Days/Hours**:Monday - Friday / 9AM - 6PM

**Basic Salary**:RM 12,000 - RM 18,000

**Benefits**:Subsidized parking

**Job Requirements**:

- Possess at least a **Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting**, AND professional qualifications such as **ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, CIMA, with MIA membership required**. (Need to be an active MIA member).
- Proven experience in senior finance leadership roles, preferably as a CFO, Finance Director, Finance Manager, or in high-level finance positions within a large organization or group, particularly in the Retail Industry or a Public Listed Company.
- Thorough knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and industry-specific best practices relevant to the sectors in which the group operates.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex financial data and trends.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities, capable of influencing and leading organizational change.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, adept at effectively presenting financial information to diverse audiences. Proficiency in Mandarin is preferred.
- Strategic thinking ability, capable of envisioning long-term goals and contributing to the overall business strategy.
- Strong commitment to ethical standards and integrity in managing finances.
- Expertise in financial management software and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and efficiently handle multiple priorities.
- Create and implement the financial strategy of the company to ensure it aligns with the overall business goals.
- Conduct financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting across the entire group in a timely manner.
- Supervise the preparation of financial statements and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assess financial data and metrics to offer insights into the company's performance and trends.
- Identify and oversee financial and operational risks that impact the company's profitability and operational efficiency.
- Establish strategies to reduce risks and ensure adherence to financial regulations and other relevant regulatory requirements, establishing operational SOPs and ensuring their timely implementation.
- Supervise the allocation and structure of capital, which includes managing financing strategies and investment choices.
- Maximize the company's capital resources to achieve growth and profitability objectives.
- Responsible for overseeing initiatives related to mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.
- Negotiate financial agreements and maintain relationships with investors, banks, and financial institutions.
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.
- Establish and maintain efficient internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Lead and guide the finance team, promoting a culture of excellence and ongoing enhancement.
- Develop skills within the finance team and advocate for their professional growth.
- Assess business opportunities, analyze financial implications, and propose appropriate actions.
