Woodwork Factory Supervisor

The Woodwork Factory Supervisor oversees daily operations on the factory floor, ensuring efficient production, quality standards, and safety compliance in the woodworking/manufacturing process. This role is responsible for supervising workers, coordinating tasks, monitoring equipment, and ensuring that customer orders and project deadlines are met.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Supervise and lead a team of woodworking machine operators, carpenters, and production staff.
- Plan, assign, and monitor daily production activities to meet schedules and targets.
- Ensure adherence to quality control standards for all wood products.
- Train and guide employees on safe and efficient use of woodworking tools and machinery.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment, tools, and workplace safety.
- Coordinate with the Factory Manager on material requirements and stock levels.
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of production output.
- Enforce company policies, safety regulations, and workplace discipline.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase productivity and reduce waste.
- This position involves night shift assignments. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and public holidays, is required.
- Employees may be requested to perform overtime duties as and when required by business operations. Overtime will be paid according to statutory requirements.
- Any others duties assigned by the Superior/ Management from time to time.

**Qualifications & Requirements**
- SPM/Diploma/Certificate in Wood Technology, Manufacturing, or related field.
- Proven experience in woodworking, carpentry, or factory supervision.
- Strong knowledge of woodworking machinery, tools, and safety standards.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read technical drawings and production plans.
- Good problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Basic computer literacy (MS Office, production tracking systems).
- Language Requirement: English/Bahasa Malaysia

**Working Conditions**
- Factory floor environment with exposure to noise, dust, and machinery.
- Requires use of protective equipment (e.g., safety glasses, earplugs, gloves).
- May involve overtime or weekend shifts depending on production needs.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
