With hundreds of restaurants ready to receive orders via our website and mobile app, no one should have to suffer from the lack of variety or long queues to enjoy great food.**: **The Risk/Fraud Analytics team provide insights and strategies to combat payment fraud and marketplace abuse throughout foodpanda.**: **About the Role**: **In terms of career-path, This position starts out as a hybrid people-manager of a team of 3-4 individuals whilst also owning a few data projects.**: **This role will use best practices and establish new ways of analyzing to prevent monetary abuse & accelerate growth.**: **A day in the life: what you'll do;**: - **Manage a team of data analysts that are aligned to a Risk/Fraud portfolio, mentoring each team member to become an expert in the key metrics of their portfolio.**: - **Create and produce actionable business intelligence to prevent fraud and financial loss.**: - **Develop ways to grow profits in hundreds of thousands, hopefully millions.**: - **Develop analytical muscle for the team.**: - **Own relationships with major product, data science, legal, local and other Panda stakeholders.**: - **Test and analyze various strategies, models' effectiveness in terms of risk detection and loss mitigation**: - **Deliver reporting and actionable intelligence to our Risk/Fraud team as well as local stakeholders..**: - **Deliver KPIs for top risk areas.**: **What success looks like**: - **Lead with courage, knowing the possibility of greatness is bigger than the fear of failure.**: - **Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships.**: - **Know when to add value to every interaction amongst stakeholders, colleagues and team members.**: **Minimum Qualifications**: - **2 years of experience in leading small to medium sized teams will be required.**: - **5+ years of experience working in data-related and/or quantitative fields, including but not limited to Analytics and Applied Data Science.**: - **Fluent with SQL, Python, or R. Experienced with working with very large datasets.**: - **Effective communicator, able to convince and align with stakeholders and code-switch between technical and layman speak.**: **The good to haves**: - **Relevant industry experience (preferably in an Internet or 'Direct to Consumer' company with high velocity data and scaled controlled experiments) and/or prior experience with Product Management or business-facing operations will be a plus.**: - **Experience building, inspiring, and leading diverse and high-performing teams.**: - **Ability to develop and analyze large, complex datasets and convert them into insights that drive business decisions at all levels of the organization.**: - **Ability to deliver on tight timelines and move quickly with cross-functional teams to partner or lead decision making while maintaining high attention to detail.**: - **A culture role model of foodpanda: Own it, Always add Value & work smarter, together.**:
