**Environmental Officer**

**Responsibilities**:

- Monitor, maintain and protect environmental standard according to current rules & regulations.
- Plan, organize and execute environmental activities and any prevailing environmental matters.
- Identify and assess potential risks such as pollutions, noise control, toxic contamination, accident at project sites, waste management and etc.
- In charge in developments & implementation of ISO14001 Environmental Management System.
- Conduct and participate meeting with the subcontractors.
- Liaise with local authorities on compliance with the related environmental law and regulations.
- Ensure proper record keeping of all environmental records and compliance for the Management and other stakeholders.
- Handling the schedule waste, eSWIS & other monitoring required base on EQA 1974.
- Monitor and maintain earth drain and silt traps as per Erosion Sediment Control Plan (ESCP).
- Prepare environmental promotional materials and ensure awareness materials are available at project sites.
- Coordinate the implementation of environmental management programmes such as environmental audits, routine site walk, spot check, and etc.
- Attend to non-compliance cases and investigate on complaints received from public any related agencies.
- Conduct training as to create awareness among all parties involved in the project.
- Any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.
- Implementing the project safety & health plan & all relevant legal, statutory and legislative requirement for safety & health at site.
- Identifying all potential hazards & formulating action plan to prevent injury & casualty to anyone.
- Maintain good environment, safety and health at the work place (site & office) and ensuring compliance to regulatory laws and acts of the Government.

**Job Requirements**
- Must possess at least Diploma/Degree or Professional Certificate in Environmental or equivalent.
- Knowledge on ISO 14001 (EMS)
- Certified in Environmental Professional in Schedule Waste Management (CePSWam)
- Location : Sepang (Bandar Serenia)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
