**Position Description**

We are looking for a multi-talented **Electrical Technician** to support our production team with the assembly, testing and commissioning of commercial air conditioners and keeps things in check amidst a whirlwind of fast-moving activities and company growth.

**Positions Responsibilities**

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to the safe, efficient and effective execution of product assembly including;
- Inspection of products during assembly, ensuring products are built to specification and standards.
- Electrical control panel testing and completing QA documents.
- Electrical wiring and termination to motors and controls.
- Evacuation and charging of refrigerant circuits.
- Pre-start-up checks on electrical termination of wiring to motors and controls.
- Programming of PCB controllers and EC fans via software.
- Product run testing and completing QA documents.
- Corrective action and electrical fault diagnosis and repairs identified in production.
- Tooling, plant and equipment checks and routine maintenance.
- Support production and engineering with design changes and production improvements.
- Support engineering with the research and development of prototypes.
- Support the production team to achieve its targets and objectives.
- Participate in stock takes when required.
- Comply with WHS regulations.
- Action tasks according to project/maintenance schedules, procedures and standards.
- Seek continual improvement in manufacturing efficiency, productivity, quality, safety and 5S of the production lines.
- Train production operators and trainees.
- The company may alter these duties from time to time.

**Reporting Structure**

This position reports to the Production Manager.

**Position Requirements**
- Certificate in Electrical and/or Electrical Fitting.
- Certificate in Refrigeration / Air conditioning would be advantageous.
- Able to read mechanical and electrical drawings.
- Reliable transport and licence.
- Physically fit and healthy.
- Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
- Forklift license would be advantageous.
- First Aid training would be advantageous.
- Good organization, communication and general inter-personal skills.
- Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to work overtime and long hours.
- Possess professional maturity, takes personal responsibility/accountability and is a team player.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
