A Quality Inspector is responsible for inspecting and verifying the quality of raw materials, components, or products that are received from suppliers before they are used in the manufacturing process. The role ensures that these incoming goods meet the required specifications and quality standards, helping to prevent defects from entering the production line or reaching to the end customer.

Key Responsibilities of an IQC Inspector:
1. Inspection of Incoming Materials:

- Physical Inspection: Perform detailed visual inspections of incoming materials (e.g., raw materials, components, parts) to ensure they are free from defects, damage, or contamination.
- Dimensional Checks: Use tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, or automated measuring systems to verify that parts or materials meet required specifications and tolerances.
- Testing of Materials: Conduct functional or performance tests to check the quality of the materials or components, depending on the industry (e.g., tensile testing, electrical conductivity tests, chemical analysis).

2. Documentation and Reporting:

- Record Inspection Results: Document all inspection results, including batch numbers, lot numbers, test results, and any non-conformance findings.
- Data Entry: Input inspection data into quality management systems or databases to maintain accurate records of incoming materials.

3. Sampling:

- Sampling Plans: Follow established sampling plans or acceptance criteria (such as statistical sampling) to determine the number of items to inspect from each incoming lot or batch.

4. Quality Standards and Compliance:

- Adhere to Specifications and Standards: Ensure that incoming materials meet the company’s quality standards, as well as any industry-specific regulations or certifications.
- Inspect for Packaging and Labelling Compliance: Verify that packaging, labelling, and product documentation conform to the company’s requirements and regulatory standards.

5. Tools and Equipment Calibration:

- Ensure Calibration: Use measuring and testing tools that are calibrated and maintained according to required standards.
- Report Equipment Malfunctions: Report any issues with inspection tools or equipment to the maintenance team to ensure continued accuracy and reliability.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Attention to Detail: Ability to identify even the smallest defects or discrepancies in incoming materials.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and understanding technical drawings or specifications.
- Communication Skills: Effective communication with suppliers, internal teams, and other departments to resolve quality issues.
- Record-Keeping and Reporting: Strong skills in documentation and data entry to maintain accurate inspection records and reports.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
