Cybersecurity Analyst

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support and protect the company's computer systems and networks from cyber threats, data breaches and other malicious activities. The role involves continuous monitoring, detecting vulnerabilities and responding to incidents in order to safeguard sensitive information.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Monitoring & Threat Detection**: Continuously monitor network traffic and system logs for signs of malicious activity or breaches. Use security tools and software to identify and analyze potential threats.
- **Incident Response**: Respond to security incidents, investigate the cause, and take corrective actions to mitigate damage. Work with internal teams to develop response plans and ensure proper reporting and documentation of incidents.
- **Security Policy Implementation**: Assist in the creation and enforcement of security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- **Firewall and Network Security**: Configure and maintain firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other network security devices to prevent unauthorized access.
- **Reporting**: Generate regular reports for management detailing security activities, incidents, vulnerabilities, and compliance status.

**Requirements**:
2. At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in IT security operations, IT security management or relevant fields.

3. Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, encryption and security tools.

4. Proactive problem solving, follow up & negotiation skills.

5. Self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive and detail-oriented.

6. Good interpersonal and communication skills.

7. Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines.

8. Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling confidential information.

9. Preferred Languages : English, Malay & a **MUST** for **Mandarin.**

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
