Geophysicist

Demonstrate performance criteria as stipulated in IMCA Geophysicist Grade I Core Competencies S20 and S23 Competence Tables.
- Monitoring and control of all survey data quality to ensure complying and meeting both internal and client’s specification.
- Verification of on-line systems.
- Planning, assessing and approving calibration data.
- Establishing, managing and archiving records, data and information.
- Interpretation of data for survey objectives and the quality control of processed data.
- Assist to all duties of Senior Geophysicist and Party Chief.
- To provide hands-on training to Trainee Geophysicist (Junior).
- Planning, writing and compiling report.
- Assist Senior Geophysicist in data interpretation and report compilation for end of job reports.
- Abide by both company and client rules and instruction at all time, except where to do so would constitute a hazard/ threat to personnel or equipment.
- To co-ordinate activity with other members of the Company in a mutually helpful way.
- Strictly adhere to the principle of trust, integrity and confidentiality.
