Vp of Procurement

**About the Hiring Company**

The hiring company is a leader in the Consumer Electronics industry, with a multi-million turnover in worldwide markets. With increasing demands and as part of their growth, they are currently looking for a VP of Procurement (Manufacturing and Supplier Management) to be an integral part of their business to assist and continue to improve the value chain.

This position will be a key leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the development of supply chain operations. You will play a crucial role in negotiating contracts, developing new manufacturing solutions in alignment with the company's strategic objectives.

Other responsibilities will include:

- Lead negotiations with suppliers, focusing on pricing structures, line capacity, quality standards delivery timelines and other key parameters.
- Collaborate with regional and global partners to establish long-term partnerships that align with the company's values and goals.
- Identify and evaluate manufacturing partners on JDM models
- Work closely with executive leadership to align the procurement of manufacturing with overall business goals.
- Stay abreast of market trends and industry benchmarks to drive competitive agreements.

**The Successful Applicant**

You should possess a degree in Engineering, Business or Supply Chain Management. You will have significant years of experience in strategic procurement in a leadership position with proven ability to deal with senior stakeholders. Experience in Manufacturing and Electronics sectors and projects with a background in R&D will be highly regarded. Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to work in a fast paced and collaborative environment is essential.
